In between the release of the first album ‘ONE MAN BLUES’ (Nov 2011) and the second album due for the 1st of March 2013 we are proud to present to you this 7 inch vinyl single (released by Vynilla Record Shop 200 copies). Two sides and two different versions of the same song give you a choice between totally different moods.
‘Cortisone Blues’ is one of those songs Tim wrote during his ‘crossroad experience’ trying to get back in shape after 6 years of severe illness. Though the title of the song suggests a mean and troubled blues tune the ‘cortisone blues’ is a rather danceable and funny song in which TLT describes the side effects of large amounts of cortisone in his typical and ironic way.
‘Get my leather jacket, I’m goin’ out tonight, young and strong and bound to win, only for tonight.’
‘I’m not that handsome young men I used to be before, but the days keep-a coming and I’m rolling down the road.’
